How To Integrate Authorize.Net With Shopify, Authorize.Net is one of the most widely-used payment gateway services, allowing merchants to accept credit cards and process transactions online. Integrating Authorize.Net with your Shopify store enables seamless and secure credit card payments through your Shopify checkout. Here is a step-by-step guide to connect Authorize.Net to your Shopify ecommerce store.  

1. Sign Up for an Authorize.Net Account

If you don't already have one, go to Authorize.Net and sign up for a merchant account. You'll need to enter some basic business information to create your account before proceeding. 

2. Get Your API Login ID and Transaction Key

Under Account Settings in your Authorize.Net dashboard, go to API Credentials & Keys. Here you will find your API Login ID and Transaction Key which are essential for integrating with Shopify. Copy and save these somewhere convenient.

3. Install the Authorize.Net Shopify App

Log in to your Shopify admin. Click on Apps > Visit Shopify App Store from the left menu bar. Search for “Authorize.Net” and install the official app. Click Get to add it.  

4. Enter Your Authorize.Net Credentials 

After installing, you’ll be redirected to enter the API Login ID and Transaction Key that you obtained earlier from your Authorize.Net dashboard. Paste them in and click Submit to connect your accounts.

5. Configure Settings  

On the next screen you can configure authorization modes, credit card data settings, transaction options and other preferences for how Authorize.Net will work on orders. Enable what you need.

6. Enable Authorize.Net Checkout

Go to Settings > Payments. Check the box next to Authorize.Net to activate it. Make sure the radio button lists it as the primary payment method customers will see.  

7. Test Transactions

Run a few test transactions across different credit cards to ensure the connection works properly. Process refunds as well to confirm the full integration functions correctly.

With these straightforward steps, you can have your Shopify store integrated with Authorize.Net in no time. Customers will enjoy a seamless checkout experience powered by one of the top payment gateways.
